Woman of courage...

I came across this blog (   http://www.embracingelijah.com/   ) last week and it has just broken my heart. LC is 35 weeks pregant with her second child. He will be born next week but will not survive. Their precious Elijah has Trisomy 13. I can not imagine what that family is going through but I applaud her for her courage. She decided to give Elijah every opportunity that she could...and wants to keep him inside as long as possible. She will carry him to term and then have to say good bye immediately. I do not know this person and have only commented on her blog once. Please stop by and give her some words of encouragement  peace   comfort something....what can you say to someone in this situation? Please lift her and her family up in prayer as they are about to embark on a journey that will forever change their lives and break their hearts.

Well, hello there!

Too busy for words! Life is good and kids are just great! BB is almost 8 months old. How is that possible? She is the sweetest baby! So much fun to be around. AB is doing great and has started playing basketball.  He loves it and it's fun to do the whole sports thing with a kid! I am swamped with school. Only 4 weeks to go until the end of the semester. I can not wait. I still have homework to do and I really want to be in bed right now. I'll try to update more soon. Hope you are all doing well!

Oh, and don't you love how BB's bows match her pj's?

Rite of Passage

Bluebonnets (flowers) pop up in the spring all over the Austin area. Not sure about other parts of Texas. And every year people throw their dogs and babies into the middle of the flowers and take their photos. I call it the rite of passage for Texas babies!!

Ever seen a bluebonnet? Pretty, huh?

My subject wasn't being very cooperative!! She was too busy trying to eat the flowers!

Maybe we'll try again later.
